IMUN is one of the largest UN simulations in Southeast Asia where participants are challenged to sharpen their intellect in addressing global issues.  It is a simulation of a UN conference in which delegates act as representatives of the UN member states. They negotiate and act in accordance with the interests of their represented countries to discuss international issues such as the economy, education, culture, and others. In addition, delegates are also required to provide creative ideas as solutions to global problems .

In addition, the event was also attended by several high-ranking UN and ambassador from several countries such as Cyprus, France and Australia. Indonesia MUN becomes a prestigious event for delegates to enhance the skills of diplomacy and expand their networks. Various preparations have been made to support these expectations, such as sharing the experience with a MUN delegate of Nusantara MUN in 2012. Countries that the team represents are Netherlands, Spain, Ireland, Finland, Libya, and the Dominican Republic. They shared the vision, provided solutions & discussed the resolutions with other delegates from home & foreign countries.

The delegates are SEF Organizers who are active in striving to bring the UNSOED’s flag in national and international scale, like becoming semifinalist in the largest English Olympics in ASIA last february. By participating in the event, it is expected that the lessons & experience can be transferred to the juniors so that SEF UNSOED can attaint more in the future.
